Meet Gamzix Soundverse: Our Music Hub for Game Worlds
We’re officially breaking the fourth wall with Gamzix Soundverse, a music hub designed to transform music from our game worlds into standalone digital albums.
Following wins in two Best Game Sound categories, we are taking the next natural step: releasing a music collection that lets you experience Gamzix as a sonic journey, from the mysterious sands of Egypt and fiery Mexican fiestas to the neon glow of Las Vegas, the haunting atmosphere of the Carpathian forests, and beyond, now available on Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube.
"Gamzix Soundverse is the sonic universe of Gamzix. Each release is its own world, with a distinct mood, genre, and visual identity. In 2025, we received two awards specifically for our music, which inspired us to develop this direction further and openly share the soundscapes from our titles", comments Gamzix’s Sound Design Team. "The project isn’t limited to a single style. It moves freely across genres while maintaining a recognizable sense of atmosphere. With Soundverse, we want to highlight and share the music behind our games, showing players, partners, and the wider audience that Gamzix is more than just games. It’s about process, creativity, and unconventional approaches".
The Sonic Core of Player Immersion
In iGaming, the conversation often revolves around mechanics, math models, and visuals. But what truly keeps players inside a world is immersion, and sound is one of its most powerful engines.
At Gamzix, audio is not an afterthought. It is a core layer of game design, shaping mood, pacing, and emotion. Our goal is simple – to create a sound you never feel like muting.
Denis Shcherbak, Gamzix’s Game Director, comments: "To create a game soundtrack, when the direction is clear, we provide our Sound Design Team very specific references, tracks, films, or even ads that capture the right vibe, tempo, melody, and energy. When it isn’t as clear, we frame the request around the player's emotion and the world we’re building: the style, pacing, instrumentation, and the exact feeling the sound should deliver, along with a few cultural touchpoints to guide the team."
Music Built From Real Life
Gamzix’s in-house sound team follows a clear rule: minimal to zero reliance on stock libraries. Instead, sounds are built from the ground up to create an original, instantly recognizable identity, something you can catch in the first few notes, without leaning on typical or predictable genre shortcuts.
Their sources include:
- Recordings of real instruments and everyday objects.
- Animal sounds from zoos and natural habitats.
- Ambient noise from streets and public spaces.
- And even voices from the Gamzix team!
For example, our Head of Brand, Olga Ashykhmina, contributed Spanish voice elements to 9 Jalapenos, a track as bold and spicy as the slot itself. An Account Management Team Lead, Daria Danchuk, became part of the soundscape of one of Gamzix’s top horror performers, Jack O’Wild. These are not simple easter eggs, they are a deliberate way to make sound human, recognizable, and alive.
"For us, sound is worldbuilding," says Olga Ashykhmina, Head of Brand at Gamzix. "Our sound design team treats each track like a directed scene: they capture real textures and transform them into a playable atmosphere that carries the brand from the very first notes."
A Physical Extension of the Vibe
To mark the Soundverse launch, we’ve also created a tangible continuation of its digital worlds: branded speakers with a QR code that links directly to the playlist. One scan and listeners step into the rhythm, personality, and emotion of Gamzix games, whether in the office, at home, on the road, or at industry events.
The first albums from Gamzix Soundverse are already available on the world’s most popular streaming platforms. Follow the link to listen, and get ready, it’s about to get louder!
